What is an F1b Mini Bernedoodle?

Breeding an F1 Mini Bernedoodle with a purebred miniature Poodle results in a mini F1b Bernedoodle. Since F1b Bernedoodles have more Poodle genetics, they tend to be more Poodle-like in looks, temperament, and other traits. With regards to build, they are slimmer than the F1 . Our Mini F1b Bernedoodles are usually in the 20 to 35 pound range.

F1bs are virtually non-shedding and have a very allergy friendly wavy or curly coat. They need to be groomed regularly to prevent their coats from getting matted and tangled. They have a lifespan of around 12 to 16 years. 

Our Basia has been bred with Miller, a phantom moyen poodle who is about 30 lbs. We expect tri-color and merle mini bernedoodle puppies that will be in the 25-35 lb range.  They are due mid-April and will be ready to go home in early/mid-June.
