An Aussie Mountain Doodle is a hybrid cross between a Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog × Poodle) and an Aussiedoodle (Australian Shepherd × Poodle). This mix brings together the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle, the loyalty and easygoing nature of the Bernese, and the energy and brilliance of the Australian Shepherd. The result? A loving, social, smart, and gorgeous doodle!

Our Aussie Mountain Doodles typically range from 20 to 60 pounds, depending on the size of the parents. We focus on small to medium sizes — big enough for adventures, but still perfect for couch cuddles.
What are their coats like? Do they shed?
Most Aussie Mountain Doodles have a wavy to curly coat that is low to non-shedding. Some Aussie Mountain Doodle puppies are flat-coated, meaning that there will be some shedding with these. We can usually tell which puppies will have flat coats by the time they are 5-6 weeks old. While no dog is 100% hypoallergenic, many families with mild allergies do well with our doodles. Regular brushing and grooming help keep their coat soft, healthy, and tangle-free.
What is their temperament like?
